Women’s Wellness
...in Your 30’s
You’re building up important parts of your life—career, relationship, and family.
Regular visits can help monitor and manage any reproductive health issues that may arise, as well as provide guidance and support for overall health and well-being.
In your 30’s, your needs for GYN healthcare may be diverse. You may be just planning to start a family, finished with childbearing, or have decided that having children is not part of your life plan.
As women near 37 however, fertility starts to sharply decline, and it can become harder to conceive.
The providers at County Obstetrics & Gynecology have the knowledge, experience, and resources to identify the cause of infertility.
We will then discuss available treatment options and assist you in selecting the treatment plan that best meets your needs. Our office provides one-on-one testing and evaluation for optimal fertility health. We also work closely with many expert reproductive specialists if referral is necessary.
You may begin to see changes in your menstrual cycle with an increase in flow or cramping. If the changes become disruptive to your day-to-day function, we can offer treatment options.
Treatments for menstrual irregularities are tailored to each individual woman, depending on her age, overall health, severity of symptoms and whether she’s pregnant or would like to get pregnant in the future.
Starting at age 30, we recommended that women start getting tested for human papillomavirus (HPV). This will be done at the same time as your Pap test.
If there are any abnormalities with the Pap test, your doctor at County Obstetrics & Gynecology will discuss with you the need for additional testing and, if needed, treatment options and follow up plans.
